Recipe: MawMaw’s Chocolate Chip Cookies December 15, 2020August 5, 2020 by Ainsley Yesterday was National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and I shared my MawMaw’s famous recipe in a video on my Instagram. I wanted to share it on my blog as well with the written instructions. Ingredients: 1 cup Butter (2 sticks), softened 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar 3/4 cup packed Light Brown Sugar 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon Salt 2 cups Hershey's Milk Chocolate (chips, chunks, or pieces) Method: Preheat oven to 325° F Beat softened butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Add eggs and beat ingredients well. Add in flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat until blended Add chocolate chips and mix Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Using a teaspoon, drop dough onto ungreased parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes or until desired color. Remove from oven and transfer from cooking sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
